The Israelites were in constant problems of grief and dissatisfaction with regards to the food that they were eating as well as the problem of the lack of water which they were facing continuously. This was the situation which was similar for both of the complaints in Numbers and those in Exodus. The Israelites were not being able to understand that they had to follow Moses and the commands of God with complete honesty and understanding. Though the Israelites were trying to follow God’s commands through the preaching of Moses, there were problems because the Israelites were constantly complaining and were not being able to understand that God was testing their faith.
